Garmin AXIS Upgrade
You do not need the integrated displays to take advantage of Garmin AXIS.
This AXIS Upgrade package will include what you need to upgrade your current G3X screens including the HSDB wires needed in 4' lengths and pre pinned.
Select your navigator if any to get the HSDB wires needed to conjecture to AXIS.
GDU 116BX
The GDU 116BX (Experimental) serve as the foundation of the AXIS lineup and are the direct successors to the popular GDU 460.
Don't mistake "base model" for limited capability. When paired with existing Garmin panel-mounted navigators, the GDU 116B delivers functionality comparable to the higher-end AXIS displays. Connected to Garmin's 2-inch navigators, it provides capabilities similar to the GDU 116C. Pair it with a GTN Xi, and it offers functionality comparable to the GDU 116NC.
